Alteisen Completion!

Posted by TwilightReap on July 23, 2010

Being my 1st kotobukiya kit~ the Alteisen is a really impressive kit 🙂 The amount of engineering put into this kit might surpass some of the master grade kit. That said however this kit has problems such as brittle plastic and poor colour seperation.

Also today is one of the rare days I get to use my computer xD

As mention in the last post I encountered a problem when building the kit. This is what happen~

When I was putting the black polycap into the parts it kinda flew away… =.=

I tried finding it, but to no avail =/

With the lost of a single irreplaceable polycap.. I looked through my bag’o polycaps to find a suitable replacement~ 🙂

Through a series of trial and error I finally found a suitable polycapz but with a major flaw~ =/ The length is too short…

That kinda made me demoralized… However I found a way to overcome that problem!

BLUETACK! 🙂 Though unorthodox it work~ 🙂

Though kinda ugly~ I will be painting it so will probably scrap off excess when painting.

One word ‘ Badass”

Missing polycap… ouch… For my DaizenGAR the piece that connects the two halves of the torso… cracks. Due to a wrongly sized ball joint on the lower torso.

note: the Alt could piece through any plot armour. =D

I want to start building mine!
but I see from your photos, the seams on the thigh and calf are a bit ‘onore!!’ for a redesigned kit.

I missed this kit and bough the Gespenst Mk-II Albero Custom instead because I couldn’t buy both.

It sure does look nice once completed… after some hardships of the builder. XP
Luckily you managed to fix that problem or else your Alteisen won’t be posing much.
