Alteisen Start!

Posted by TwilightReap on July 8, 2010

School life getting busy nowadays~ little time to build my gundams~ =/.

I started on the Alteisen because I lost the F91 manual~ =/ Technically I didn’t lose it, my 7 year old cousin lost it~ =.=

Some rants before I continue. The colours are really really really cheap! Even the white is cheap!! Decided to paint this kit after finish assembling it. Also kotobukiya plastic are cheap and brittle~ I’ll explain this later on.

Very nice looking cover shot for the manual~ of course its painted~

Really nice chrome(?) spear thingy for the arms~ totally didn’t expect this~ considering how cheap the colours are..

Thumbs up to koto for trying interior detailing~ 🙂 They didn’t have to do it~ but still~ Its the thoughts that counts.

Now this is what I was talking about. Notice the circular hole? well that part was connected to the runner and when i was snipping it out, it just broke~ I applied very little force on it~ and it just broke~ might cover that up with some putty or smth…

Nice try at inner frame there~

~.~ really dark photo~ Will finish the rest probably tomorrow or something.

Heh. Now you know what it’s like to built an SRW kit from Koto. Quite a challenge, if you asked me.

And yes, the plastic IS on the brittle side, so, just be extra careful with it.

About the missing manual, just head over to dalong.net to see a scanned version. =D

BTW, the spear-thingy is the Revolver Stake; a nice solids piercing weapon designed to defeat any armour.

    • Heh~ never play SRW so dunno much about this suit~
Thanks for the advice for the missing manual~ 😀

        No problem, ze.

Besides, me likes the Alt and the Alt Riese. Can easily removes a certain beam spammer’s plot armour with ease. >D

Kyosuke: There’s no armour that cannot be pierce through. Stake, GO~! *pierces Strike Freedom*
